Locations: South Park Inn, St Elizabeth’s House and Friendship Center

Day of the Donations Pick-up:

For this Friday night, we decided that only one of us would do the donations pick-up as we were only going to be able to go to one location. The deliveries would be for the 2 Hartford Shelters as well. We ended up only getting donations from Panera this Friday. We were able to gather 3 boxes full of bread and 2 small boxes of mixed sweet treats.

Once they were split into the correct portions, we were ready to head back home and ready for Saturday. Although we did not take pictures of the donations, we are positive the shelters enjoyed the donations.

Day of the Deliveries:

On Saturday, Ashlei delivered all of the donations as she had space in her car for the donations and lives not too far from both shelters in Hartford. We had arranged for 2 boxes of bread and 1 box of the mixed sweet treats to be delivered to the South Park Inn. The other box of bread and the last box of the mixed sweet treats to be delivered to the St. Elizabeth’s House and Friendship Center. The deliveries were done by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday due to both locations being close to one another. It was nice to see many people outside enjoying the warm day, not only at the park but also at the shelters.
