Day Before the Event:  

Due to work schedules and a small injury to one from our team; on Friday Ashlei was the only one that could gather the donations.  With having done this every week, a system was finally developed but this week we couldn’t use it as we were a bit short-staffed. We were fortunate that Ashlei’s mom was able to volunteer some of her time to help us pack up and individually wrapped all the donuts up. The total of items that we gathered was: 294 (this count includes the munchkins that we gathered as well).

Day of the Event:

Saturday Morning we headed out to make our rounds. Abby and Ashlei were able to meet up and go to the first stop that was the Cornerstone Foundation Soup Kitchen. From there it was to the South Park Inn in Hartford next, and then the Saint Elizabeth House & Friendship Center. 

Although this week we had a few minor technical difficulties and some other hiccups we are still grateful we were able to continue our weekly donations. 

Our Next Event is: 03/13/21. It is our Monthly Park Event. We would love to see you there, or if you want to let someone know please share.
